We want Subiaco Oval as the FOREVER home of the West Coast Eagles.

On 3 September 2015 the WA Cricket Association announced that the WA Football Commission would be relocating to the WACA ground.

The Premier plans to demolish Subiaco Oval for office blocks and high rise flats.

The Premier’s plans also include moving West Coast Eagles to Victoria Park (Lathlain Oval).  There is a heads of agreement to do this, but…

NO CONTRACTS have been signed.

Therefore we petition the West Coast Eagles and the Mayor of City of Subiaco:

We the undersigned hereby support this petition to retain and redevelop Subiaco Oval as the home base for the West Coast Eagles football club for the following reasons:

  •  WCE have enjoyed success on and off the ground with their home base at Subiaco Oval
  • This location offers access to a mix on training locations – Kings Park, Mueller Park, Kitchener Park
  • The Subiaco Oval precinct can be configured to meet WCE needs
  • Entertainment facilities for members to enjoy before and after a game
  • Parking near the train station to go to the new stadium
  • Shopping and entertainment in broader Subiaco
  • New residential housing planned for footy fans with the redevelopment of PMH and the western end of the oval.
